Things You Didn't Know About Your Favourite Hollywood Men

Hollywood is home to some of the best actors of all time, but how well do we really know the household celebs we all love? Here are some interesting facts you may not have known about the Hollywood men you've been dreaming about all your life...

1) Bradley Cooper

The 'American Sniper' actor isn't a big fan of jewellery, but he does wear one special ring on his right hand: the wedding ring of his father who passed away in 2011. Bradley swore to his dad on his deathbed that he would never take it off. *Wipes away tears*

2) Zac Efron

Despite being one of the best-looking actors in the world (in our opinion anyway), Zac is only 5 feet 9 inches tall. He makes up for his height in other ways though...

3) Johnny Depp

Bet you didn't know that your favourite pirate used to be a guitarist! As well as playing in relatively unknown bands such as The Kids and P, Johnny also collaborated with the likes of Oasis and Bob Dylan. Casually being a musician in his spare time, that's pretty cool we guess.

4) Ryan Reynolds

Believe it or not, Ryan actually failed drama class in high school. We know, we were shocked too!

5) Will Smith

Will met his wife, Jada, on the set of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'. Jada was auditioning for the part of Will's onscreen love interest but didn't get the part. She got it in real life though. #winning

6) Matt Damon

Matt was offered roles in Avatar, Star Trek and The Dark Knight but to our surprise, he turned all of them down. God only knows why.

7) Jamie Dornan

In 2003, Jamie had a two-year relationship with none other than Keira Knightley. He was also involved with the likes of Kate Moss and Lindsay Lohan before meeting his present-day wife, Amelia Warner.

8) Gerard Butler

Our favourite Scottish man's dream was never to be an actor. Growing up, Gerard wanted to study to become a lawyer. We can't say he wouldn't make the jury drool!

9) Tom Hardy

He doesn't just play bad boys in movies, Tom was actually a bad boy in real life too. He was expelled from not one, but two schools as a young lad. The first time was for theft, the second for, as he puts it, "being a little shit".

10) Dave Franco

You would think this hottie is too busy with the women to have pets, but Dave is a massive cat-lover. We may be allergic but hey, if it's good enough for Dave it's good enough for us. *Grabs a box of tissues*

11) Ryan Gosling

In 2005, Ryan took time out from his Hollywood career to travel to Chad (an African country, in case you didn't know). While there, he made a documentary about refugees living in the country. Talk about random acts of kindness!

12) Channing Tatum

The '22 Jump Street' star struggled with dyslexia as a child. Don't worry Channing, we'll tutor you (Mean Girls style).

13) Andrew Garfield

Although most celebrities hate all things internet, Andrew is a big fan of Facebook. He even goes as far as saying he's obsessed! We feel you, bro.

14) Liam Hemsworth

Another lad with a weird animal fetish, Liam is apparently obsessed with squirrels. We can see why Miley was nuts about him... *cough cough*

15) Chris Evans

In 2001, Chris starred in Marilyn Manson's video of "Tainted Love". Random.

16) Joseph Gordon-Levitt

After the death of his brother Mike in 2010, Joseph inherited his sibling's mismatched sock collection and decided to continue the trend. Hence why you'll always catch him wearing odd socks.

17) Hugh Jackman

Hugh studied journalism and communications in university and it wasn't until his final year that he developed an interest in acting. Thank God he did is all we can say!

18) Kellan Lutz

Wait for it... He almost didn't audition for Twilight *gasps*

19) Eddie Redmayne

If you thought he was posh already, guess what? Eddie was in the same year as Prince William in school. How fucking cool is that?

20) Nicholas Hoult

Nicholas had an early start in acting with his breakthrough role coming in the 2002 film, 'About A Boy', starring alongside Hugh Grant. Pretty impressive for a 13-year-old!

21) Robert Pattinson

We hate being the bearer of bad news, but reports tell us Robert's six pack in 'New Moon' came about thanks to make-up artists on set. Boo, you whore.

22) Josh Hutcherson

Despite being the tender age of 22, Josh has already set up his own production company in L.A. We want in!
