10 Types Of Laughs We All Have To Face In Our Lives

We all have a certain type of laugh. Some we use in the most casual of situations, the others we have crafted into a fine art. Here are the top 10 laughs we all have to face in our lives!

1) Cute Girl/ Ugly Laugh

This type of laugh is the most deceiving laugh there is. You can't believe your luck. You have managed, not only to get a girl to like you, but an incredibly hot girl at that.  You show her all your manly charms and comedic wit. You expect to get a little giggle in gratitude. What do you get instead? When you first hear it, you’re genuinely concerned for her well being. Once you finally realise it is actually just her monstrous laugh, you feel like you can look past it. The problem is though, she’s not stopping. She is now resembling some sort of whale which has washed up on shore struggling to breath. She’s beating her hand against her knee, struggling for breath. Tears in her eyes, a little bit of snot is now hanging from her left nostril. That’s the last time you tell a knock knock joke. Back away. Back away slowly.

2) The Drunken Laugh

Everything you do, everything you say is hilarious. There is no longer a line between a quiet chuckle and a howl of laughter that will have all the neighbourhood's dogs outside the pub in no time. As soon as this decibel barrier between appropriate and psychotic is broken, most other rules will be broken too. You spot an absolute God drinking a pint at the bar. You're not at a stage where you're just going to go right up to him. Maybe you should laugh louder so he knows what a carefree spirit you are.

3) The Sarcastic Laugh

The sarcastic laugh is one of more subtlety. We all strive to be able to perfect it, yet only a small group of cynical individuals have mastered it. Don't let that hinder you though - a few more years of disappointment and missed opportunities and you'll be on top with the best of them!

4) The Obnoxious Laugh

Don't get this mixed up with the sarcastic laugh - the differences may be subtle but there are differences none the less. The main difference will be the person behind the laugh. These people cherish themselves dearly. They revel in laughing at others. They won't try to hide it, especially if the reason behind the laughter is at someone else's expense or for their own gain.

5) The not really a laugh laugh

They say they find things funny but they never actually laugh. When they re-tell HILARIOUS stories they don't even crack a smile but in their own words, "it was the funniest thing I've ever seen." It's hard to tell if they're being sarcastic or just plain rude. They are simply incapable of laughter.

6) The Fake Laugh

Sometimes it's out of spite but in most cases it's out of sheer awkwardness. You don't know if the person is being serious or not. They've finished speaking and they're waiting for your response. You were so so engrossed in wondering what your facial reaction should be you have no idea what they were just speaking about. Smile and wave boys, smile and wave...

7) The Evil Laugh

His new girlfriend did WHAT to him? Now quickly run home into the solitude of your room where you can revel in his sadness because you had no part in it, and unleash that cackle that you've been hiding the whole journey.

8) The Stoner Laugh

If you aren't part of the group, you will have no idea what's so funny. Is it the way that the curtain billowed in the wind? Was it the strange chip they just devoured. Nevertheless, no matter what it was, the stoner laugh is infectious. You don't know what's going on, yet you feel a need to chuckle along anyway. The stoner laugh differs from other types of laughter because it can be endless - who knows when this piece of comedic gold will lose its shine?

9) The Child's Laugh

It's pretty much the same as the stoner laugh, however it is far cuter and to be honest, they have an excuse to laugh at the sound of a hoover.

10) Awkward Laugh in Awkward Situations

It's a sad sad day. Poor Aunt Midge was taken away at the tender age of 92. So why can't you get the "Blueberries, Blueberries" YouTube video out of your head? What makes this type of laugh even worse is the fact that you have to try and conceal it. Your fellow mourners start to think that maybe you had a dodgy Indian take-away last night and that's why your face has taken on every shade of red in the last five minutes. All you can do is hang your head between your hands and hope that people will just think you've taken dear old Midge's passing very hard.
