"Studs Wanted" For New Series Of First Dates Ireland

Are you stud enough for the new First Dates Ireland?  Well, once you've stopped throwing up,  you might want to think about applying for the new First Dates series.

The original Channel 4 series First Dates came to Ireland nearly two years ago and airs on RTÉ 2. The show follows a simple format - take somebody out on a date in a swanky restaurant.

Your first date is filmed in Coda Eatery at the Gibson Hotel. You can join maître D' Mateo Saina, barman Ethan Miles and waitress Alice Marr, who'll give you tips on your date.

What's the catch? You've never met them before! Sure everybody has to meet somebody for the first time? That makes sense, doesn't it?

If you're worried about the 20 odd cameras that'll be staring at you then fear no more. The team perfectly position the cameras so you feel like you're in a relaxed environment.

Here are some of the questions you'll be asked on the application form:

  • How long have you been single for and why?
  • What is your relationship history?
  • What has been your best and worst experience whilst dating?
  • What do you look for in a partner?

If you'd like to apply for First Dates Ireland click on the link here. If not for yourself then for somebody else. The closing date is the 31st of August. If you'd like to apply to be a background dater click here.
