Temperatures Set To Reach 15C! Here's 5 Ways To Enjoy The Outdoors

The recent weather conditions have been more erratic that Father Dougal trying to decide between heads and tales, highlighting the worrying effects of climate change and the future our planet.

In a feeble attempt to push aside these concerns and to live in the moment, temperatures are set to rise again and it's just in time for the weekend.

According to Met Éireann, Saturday will be bright and dry with sunny spells and highest temperatures of 14 degrees with moderate to fresh easterly breezes.

Sunday will be mainly dry and bright with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. In Eastern coastal countries, top temperatures will be 11 or 12 C but could reach 13 to 15 C elsewhere.

So how should you spend this glorious weekend, here are 5 ways to enjoy the outdoors this weekend:

Eatyard

What better way to spend a sunny day than sampling a range of food and washing it down with a cold drink. This weekend Eatyard at the Bernard Shaw is hosting the first Eatyard street food cake weekender in Ireland. You can enjoy a selection of baked goods and a glass of prosecco or pint on arrival, sounds delightful.

Cliff walk Bray to Greystones

If you would prefer to embrace nature and the outdoors the cliff walk from Bray to Greystones is spectacular on a warm day.  The coastal walk takes about 2 hours in total, there is a clear path all the way with no steep uphills so it's not too strenuous for a Sunday stroll.

Bag of Cans at The Barge

If an afternoon of hiking sounds like a bit much, then sitting in the grass with a bag of cans might be the answer. The Barge is the place to be on a sunny day in Dublin, find your nearest off licence, grab yourself a bag of cans and enjoy.

Pheonix Park

There's a lot of nice parks in Dublin to escape from the busy streets, Bushy Park and St Stephen's Green Park to name but a few. What gives Pheonix Park the competitive edge is the deer wandering around as you soak up the sun.

Your Back Garden

If all these sound like too much of a stretch then simply lounge in your back garden to soak up that Vitamin D.
