Caroline Flack Has Hinted At A Big Twist Involving The Love Island Prize Money

If you're a fan of Love Island then, first of all, you're scientifically proven to be more intelligent than most people and secondly, you will no doubt know that the prize money for the show is supposed to be £50,000. Well, Caroline Flack has hinted that that may not be the case any more (the prize money, obviously, not the intelligence thing).

The winning couple have been placed in the awkward situation every year of choosing between 'love' and 'money' every year, with 'money' envelope receiver Cara de la Hoyde last year choosing to share the cash with her other half, Nathan Massey.

However this year's winner may be placed with an even more difficult decision, if Flack's comments are anything to go by. The presenter told Channel 4 show Sunday Brunch, ‘There is £50,000 that they share,’ said Flack before adding: ‘If you saw it last year it gets to a point where you can, erm, actually it might change this year so…’

Whether than means that the amount of money on offer changes or if the decision the winning couple are faced with is altered remains to be seen but it seems definite that the producers have major twist planned for the final on 24 July.

Meanwhile Love Island fans have been calling for Jessica Shears and Mike Thalassitis to go on Jeremy Kyle's show and take a lie detector test to see if their denials about sleeping together are true. This comes in the wake of a love scandal that I quite frankly couldn't be arsed finding out anything more about.
