Although we loved watching The Den growing up CITV had some serious kids shows on offer. Who doesn't remember waiting for their daily fixs to come on the small screen? We'll never forget these iconic shows now we've been reminded.

The Worst Witch
Aired: 1998 - 2001
Before starring in Star Wars, The Theory of Everything and A Monster Calls Felicity Jones played Ethel Hallow, arch nemesis to Mildred Hubble, the protagonist of The Worst Witch. Mildred is a clumsy witch who lives with her friends at Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches. It was so iconic they recently remade the show for CBBC.
Mopatop's Shop
Aired: 1999 -2005
Over 200 episodes were made of this bizarre but classic TV show. The show featured the large green muppet Mopatop and his dog-like assistant Puppyduck. Together they ran the Mopatop Shop where you could buy anything you dreamed of. The theme song is a bit of a tune.
ZZZap!
Aired: 1993 -2001
ZZZap! was one of those shows that make no sense the second time around. ZZZap's concept was that an 18ft comic book was brought to life. Who remembers waiting in anticipation for the camera to land on your favourite block?
My Parents Are Aliens
Aired: 1999-2006
My Parents Are Aliens was a hit back in the day. The show followed two alien parents, Brian and Sophie, who foster Mel, Josh and Lucy Parker. The series last for seven years and everybody loved Brian and Sophie's ability to morph into other people.
Art Attack
Aired: 1990 - 2007
Neil Buchanan, the present of Art Attack, was everybody's childhood hero. Does anyone else remember tearing the house apart and robbing your the kitchen sponges to follow Neil step by step? It was the one show you had to record or take notes in order to remember how to make the art. We all dreamed of doing the 'Big Art Attack' in our gardens.
Don't Eat The Neighbours
Aired: 2001 - 2002
The short-lived Don't Eat The Neighbours only lasted for one season and we still don't know why. The dark animation followed the lives of the neighbouring rabbits and wolve families. The wolves reject their dietary requirements in order to live peacefully amongst the Rabbit and his children. It needs to be brought back asap.
Jungle Run
Aired: 1999 - 2006
Any 90s child will remember wanting to own a monkey statue from Jungle Run. Only the toughest kids appeared on the kid's version of The Crystal Maze.
Oggy and the Cockroaches
Aired: 1998 - Present
Believe it or not, this classic animation is still going strong nearly twenty years later. The show, which is originally French, has remained popular in Europe even though its popularity in Ireland and the UK ended in the mid-00s.
Bernard's Watch
Aired: 1997 - 2001
Bernard's Watch was one of those shows that made everyone want to own a stopwatch. Bernard, the protagonist, is given a magic stopwatch that can halt time by a postman. Bernard had to remain pretty vanilla though as the rules of the watch meant he couldn't commit a crime or hurt anyone.
Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown
Aired: 2004 - 2006
The premise of the show was that boys and girls called into Holly and Stephens flat and if they won a prize Stephen and Holly would receive 10 points depending on the kids' gender. We're still not entirely sure why Holly and Stephen were constantly doused in random liquids but it's brilliant.
Sabrina's Secret Life
Aired: 2003 - 2004
This animation of Sabrina The Teenage Witch was a Saturday morning classic. We loved that Nick Bakay, the voice of Salem, also voiced his animated version.
