The Bat Video Family Were On Jimmy Kimmel And They Didn't Disappoint
The video of the Fleming family from Kerry trying to usher a bat from their home has been everywhere this week and it's gone as viral as rabies, which they so nearly contracted.
The families star is very much on the ascendancy because of it and the video has been retweeted by the likes of Gary Lineker, and, as my father used to always say to me, 'You know you've hit the big time when Linekar's retweeting you boy'. He was, and remains, a deeply deranged man.
The families newfound notoriety has led to an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where they recounted their struggle against the flapping rodent. There is even an appearance from the wonderful Basil, the dog whose attempts to assist during all the mayhem consisted of urinating on the floor. Given that this probably made Basil the second most helpful person in the family, it's a damning indictment of Tadhg and Maureen's contribution.
