Former UCD Student Shortlisted For Cannes Award

Former UCD student, TJ O'Grady-Peyton from Stalker Films has been shortlisted for a Cannes Young Directors Award 2013.  T.J, studied politics and sociology in University College Dublin and then went on to receive an M.A in Filmaking from the London Film School.

We caught up with T.J to congratulate him and he told us more about the production, "John Connors, an actor from Darndale who starred in a film we produced called "King of the Travellers" produced this along with myself and Emmet Fleming. His brother, Packy, is a 16 year old amateur boxer from Darndale and the kid in the video."

"We shot over 3 days all over Darndale, the post production was done by Screen Scene in Dublin (http://www.screenscene.ie/) - They do FX for all the big TV shows that are filmed in Ireland. We find out on June 20th if we get any where do fingers crossed!"
