Irish People Are Adoring This Woman's Comment On 'Humans Of New York'

Humans of New York has become one of the most successful websites on the internet. It's across all social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

It features a portrait of regular New Yorkers with a caption of a conversation about their life with photographer Brandon Stanton. Stanton has also photographed world leaders and many other regular people from around the globe.

This particular photo however, has really struck a cord with Irish audiences. It features an hilarious account from this woman about her sister and her Irish husband;

'My sister moved in, her five cats moved in, and her ex-husband moved in. It’s driving me nuts. My sister watches those murder programs. And her ex-husband is Irish so he keeps talking about the potato famine. He loves that potato famine. Always the potato famine. And those cats. Little Louie is sweet, but the biggest cat looks like Garfield and won’t stop meowing. His name is Nitro. I’m trying to keep it together. I just picked up one of those positive thinking books.'

Well, we are a nation of potato lovers.
