Netflix's Set To Drop A Brand New Murder Mystery Next Month

Netflix are releasing a new horror movie that follows writer Russell Core being hired by the parents of a missing child to go into the Alaskan forest to hunt down the creature that took their 6 year-old child.

Jermey Saulnier directs this movie which is based on William Giraldi's 2014 novel, 'Dark'. This eery movie goes through the motions of discovering what really lies deep in these cold forests, which are lined with wolves that have been known to take people from the near-by village.

The cast consists of Riley Keough, Alexander Skarsgård, James Badge Dale, and Julian Black Antelope, who are all trying to figure out what creature is causing havoc in their lives. Russell Core, a wolf hunter, is hired after three children are killed by these wolves and one more child goes missing. He soon finds himself unraveling a much deeper mystery that will shock viewers.

Not only is the movie itself set to be completely enthralling, but the scenes from all different parts of the world really draw you in. From Alaskan landscapes, to scenes of the Iraq war, these stunning shots tie the whole movie together, capturing our attention at every turn.

“Hold The Dark” will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12th, and the film debuts on Netflix on Sept. 28.
