People Are Loving The Rumoured New Host Of The Great British Bake Off

The Great British Bake Off might be a show about a baking competition in Britain but it was one of Ireland's favourite TV shows this year. Now it could be set to go global after rumours have been going around that former Gogglebox star and recent winner of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Scarlett Moffatt will host next season.

Scarlett is known for her very down-to-earth personality and viewers raved about her hilarious quips I'm a Celeb, and people are getting pretty excited about her possible new gig.

The GBBO said goodbye to three of its beloved judges and hosts, Sue Perkins, Mary Berry and Mel Giedroyc after the last season and are looking for replacements as the show moves from the BBC to Channel 4 in the new year.

The 26-year-old is not confirmed yet but it seems we haven't seen the last of her if she isn't chosen.

A source told the Mirror: “Scarlett is now a serious contender – she opened a lot of eyes to her potential on I’m A Celebrity.

“She is young, very funny and just the type of presenter Channel 4 are looking for to front their version of the show.”

The newspaper said GBBO is considering Victoria Coren Mitchell, Davina McCall, Sandi Toksvig and Sarah Millican as co-hosts.
