Ryan Gosling Was In This 90s Teen Drama And No One Seems To Have Noticed
Anyone remember the Canadian teen show, Ready or Not? Anyone at all?
Diehard fans of 90s telly will know that the drama aired from 1993 to 1997 (and got a few more years mileage out of reruns) and it focused on two best friends Busy (Lani Billard) and Amanda (Laura Bertram) as they go through the usual teenage angst.
Amanda was the stereotypical girl-girl - she wore frills and liked romantic poetry - while Busy was the tomboy who was all about basketball and baggy shirts.
Anyway, cutting to the chase - a baby faced, floppy haired Ryan Gosling made an appearance in the episode called "I do, I don't".
Giving Kurt Cobain a run for his money in the hair do stakes, Ryan features in a locker scene alongside Busy and Amanda and his friend Cam. There was a mention of a possible double date although Ryan's character Matt Kalinsky fails to throw in any chat up lines.
