The legendary drag queen Willam, who appeared on season four of Rupaul's Drag Race, read Zoella for her poor attempts at a festive smokey eye look in his weekly Youtube series Beatdown and we can't breathe. The drag star is known for his ability to read anything that breathes and he did not hold back in this holiday edition. Giving the Beatdown on Zoella's makeup tutorial Willam pondered:
You (Zoella) look like you did your makeup with hay... I have five different Pat McGrath eyeshadows on my face right now and you come out here and say that's bold? You're bold ma'am!... Don't tell me show me, show me... If you're her friend come collect her. She's not needed on the internet right now.
Willam dragged Zoella for referring to a foundation as "festive", when she begins to talk about all her "things" (anyone who watches Zoella will note she gets sent a lot of free shit), and when Zoella refers to her hair as a mop when it's actually perfect.
