Zayn Malik Has Revealed The Things He Wasn't Allowed To Do In One Direction

You would think that being in One Direction would be the best thing in the world. You're a member of the biggest band possibly of all time and have everything you could possibly want at your fingertips.

Well according to Zayn Malik, things were not that rosy. One Direction had some strict rules they had to adhere to and Zayn wasn't a fan.

“Mainly my beard, honestly. I wasn’t allowed to keep it. Eventually, when I got older, I rebelled against it, and decided to keep it anyway. That was just because I looked older than the rest of them. That’s one of the things that is now quite cool. I get to keep my beard. I also wanted to dye my hair when I was in the band, but I wasn’t allowed to.”

We feel ya Zayn. We couldn't have anyone stiffling your creativity by not allowing you to grow a beard. (Note our massive sarcasm.)
