SUPER SIMPLE OVERNIGHT OATS – MAKES 2 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS

• 70g rolled oats
• 1 tbsp chia seeds
• 1 tbsp flaked almonds
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 2 medium bananas
• 2 tbsp honey
• 200ml milk
• generous handful of strawberries and blueberries, and raspberries & some yogurt (to serve)

METHOD

1. Add the dry ingredients to a good-sized bowl and give a little mix around.
2. Thinly slice the bananas and add to the oats along with the milk and honey. Give the mixture a bit of spoon action once again, so that all your ingredients are evenly spread out. (The more mashed the bananas are, the more of a pudding-like your breakfast will be.)
3. Cover and leave in the fridge over night.
4. To serve, slice a few strawberries and place aside. Scoop the oats into a bowl and top with fruit and yogurt, and there ya go, Bob’s your uncle!

HANDY TIP: Pop the oats into a little leftover jam jar for mornings you are in a rush! That way you can just pop it in your bag and take it on the run with you!

Not only is this a useful trick, but it creates the perfect subject for a great Instagram too… there’s no point being sophisticated and healthy if you’re not going to tell anyone on social media after all!
