7 Great Ways To Keep Your Summer Buzz Alive

Summer is officially over and autumn is here! The sun is sailing away for a while and those  cold, dark and dreary nights are just around the corner. Are you losing your summer buzz? Take advantage of these things to keep your summer buzz alive!

1. Music.

Summer is the time when a tonne of hit songs are released and give you that added "summer buzz." There's always a couple of iconic summer songs every year which catch fire and skyrocket to the top of the charts. This year, Pharrell William's "Happy" was definitely that tune!

2. Sunbeds.

The sun is fading away and you're going to have to brace yourself for that cold, dark autumn and winter ahead. But fear not, keep up your glorious summer tan with the help of some sunbeds, fake tan, or a winter sun holiday if you can afford it!

3. New Clothes.

New clothes always give you an added boost and spring in your step. Sure the sun is going into hibernation for a while, but there's a whole new season of fashion which is about to begin. Hit the stores and make use of them end of summer sales!

4. Summery drinks / cocktails.

It's not a crime to have a "Sex On The Beach" when there's no sun around. You do whatever you have to in order to keep that summer feeling alive. Host a cocktail party with your friends, or hit one of your favourite bars on cocktail night, Two for the price of one most Thursdays!

5. BBQs.

If there's any hint of the sun any month after August, we won't judge you for whipping out the BBQ! Call your friends, stock some cold beers in an ice cooler and load up the meat! It's never a bad time for a BBQ.

6. Reliving your summer stories.

This happens after every summer! Reminiscing about stories of old, and reliving your summer tales. If anything, it brightens your mood but it's terrible for anyone who wasn't involved in these stories as they have to put up with you re-telling the same stories 100 times!

7. Oktoberfest Dublin.

Oktoberfest Dublin comes at JUST the perfect time to give you a beautiful month break and provide you with the opportunity to get lost in a German world of fine beer, entertainment and culture. It runs from 20th September to 7th October down by George's Dock. Who said autumn can't be fun?!
