Canada Has Released Over 10,000 Work Permits For Irish Citizens
It's great news for anyone looking to spend a year in Canada...
Irish students and people in their twenties have been moving and working in Canada for decades. Now Canada has released over 10,700 new work permits for young Irish citizens.
They will be available from tomorrow night for young Irish people aged between 18 and 35 and will be split into three categories: Working Holiday permits (7,700), Young Professionals permits (2,500), and International 'Co-Op' permits (500) for those who have been granted an internship.
Almost 30,000 people have moved from Ireland to Canada since 2011, and some research has indicated that Canada is where Irish emigrants find the greatest degree of happiness.
The work permits will be available on the night of the 4th of November.
