David Attenborough Wants You To Do One Small Thing To Save The Planet

Believe it or not, the planet is dying. Now, you can argue that we're all, in fact, dying as we age every day but without one key element to life on earth nobody would survive - bees.

You're probably thinking how do bees save us? Bees are mother natures workers and not pests, even if they do creep you out. Those beautiful flowers we love to see and the sweet fruit we love eat would not exist if it wasn't for bees. Bees spread pollen from plant to plant, helping fertilize female plants and produce seeds. Without seeds, nothing would grow, species will starve, essentially developing into a doomsday situation.

Do not fear. Sir Attenborough shared this chilling post on Facebook to remind us of how important the bee population is to the world. Alarmingly, the bee population has decreased by a third in the last five years but we can stop it with some sugar water. Try not to read Attenborough's post in his soothing  and ethereal voice:

The post has been shared and liked over 135,000 times. Our fellow humans have been sharing their bee saving clips and their acts of kindness are something to marvel at.

So, it's up to you to spread your wings and help these little workers fly.
