Here's Everything You Should Know About Vodafone's Graduate Programme

As well as working in Ireland's Vodafone headquarters, graduates get to work alongside some of the best talents in Ireland. Graduates can choose the path of commercial or technical which is ideal for students who are studying everything from business to engineering. Last week we took a trip to the Vodafone headquarters in Leopardstown, Dublin and had a chat with some former and current members of the Vodafone Graduate Programme. Here's everything you need to know about the Vodafone Graduate Programme.

What is the Vodafone Graduate Programme?

Based on a rotation placement scheme, graduates can choose either a commercial or technical role for their graduate programme. The role, depending on your choice of commercial or technical, will vary from web developer to brand communications and allows graduates to develop their skills in the workforce.

What's the Rotation Placement?

Graduates don't cover just one area of the business. Thanks to the rotation placement graduates move into three or two different areas of the business every six months to give them a full 360 of what's happening at Vodafone headquarters.

Vodafone's technical stream offers three six month rotations across their technical business units, whereas the commercial stream is designed to give graduates two nine-month rotations where you will experience what it is like to work in two commercial areas across the business. .This allows graduates to grow and broaden their skills.

How Do I Apply For The Vodafone Graduate Programme?

When you apply for the Vodafone Graduate Programme you will be asked to fill out an application form. This allows us to get to know you and your background of experience. Here you will be asked to attach your CV.

Next step is psychometric testing which allows Vodafone to see if you are the right match for the Vodafone culture. Vodafone advises using www.shl.com to practice your numerical, verbal and logical skills for the psychometric tests.

Successful candidates of the psychometric test will then be asked to take a video interview. The last round is the assessment centre, where you will be invited to Vodafone's head office for an experience day that includes an interview and teamwork exercises.

Where Will I Be Working?

If your application is successful you will be working in Vodafone's head office in Leopardstown.
