MK Returns To Dublin
That man again!
MK is coming back to Ireland! Dublin based promoters JACK made the announcement on Sunday that the legendary house producer would be returning to Irish shores and what followed was an outpouring of enthusiasm from dance fans all around Ireland.
Having performed three sellout shows on his last visit (two of which were in Dublin – unheard of for an underground house act) this time MK will be covering all the bases starting off with Carbon in Galway on Wednesday April 30th before arguably the biggest JACK show to date in the Olympia on the Thursday where Mr Kinchen will be joined on live vocals by the Anabel Englund and up and comers Tough Love. The tour will be rounded off on Friday the 2nd in Cork where MK will once more join forces with muse Englund and Bedrock favourite Eagles & Butterflies who has been impressing all round of late.
With the hype generated by his last visit (tickets were going for as much as 150e online) it would take a brave man to bet against three sellout shows come midday Friday. An indication of just how popular house music has become of late in Dublin and a sign that a once dormant scene is alive and kicking once more.
