College Sh!t No One Will Miss After Graduation

It is your final year and things are starting to wind down. You have your final assignments and exams to deal with and then your officially finished. You have had some great memories, but there are some things about college that have left a bad taste in your mouth. So here is the definitive list of the things you definitely won't miss about college.

14) Those Early Starts

For most people when your lecture is at 9:00 it means you have to get up at 7:00. For those lucky enough to live on campus it means they get up at 8:50 and someone how they still manage to be 20 mins late.

13) Mature Students

Now don't get my wrong most mature students are in the same boat as you and just happened to get on the train late. There are those though, that think the lecture hall is their forum for debate. They have a running dialogue with the lecturer and have to question everything they say.

12) Being Broke

College can be an expensive, mainly  nights out and well, that's pretty much what you spend money on. For those living on campus, it's even more of  a struggle, which means  its noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

11) Sleep Deprivation

This is mainly from staying up all night finishing assignments you should have during the day.  Also, due to the fact that you have gone out three nights in a row and so catch up on sleep in your lectures.

10) Getting There

This one is worse for some people than it is for others. Depending on where you live getting into college is either only a short trip away or requires you to use every mode of transport possible to get there.

9) Assignment Deadlines

This is usually what you are experiencing around now, when it seems like every class you have has an assignment due for the same week.  Lecturer's suggest that it is merely a coincidence, but for them this is payback for all those really stupid questions you have asked them.

8) Finals

The worse thing about exams is studying right? But when it comes down to it,  you know its the fact that after 4 years you still have no clue about the subject you're studying.

7) Student Elections

God these people are annoying. They come into every lecture you are in at least twice a day and leave flyers of their creepy smiles all over the desks.

6) Procrastination

This was about 90% of what I did in College. It became a daily challenge to see what creative way I could put off doing my assignments.

5) Presentations

This can be quite useful down the line depending on what career path you go down. For most people, though public speaking is a frightening experience. You inevitably go blank and end up making a compltete ass of yourself.

4) Writing your Thesis

Your lecturer is basically asking  of summary of  everything you have learned for their personal enjoyment.  Lectures love to see you put all this time and effort only for them to look down their nose at you with their superior knowledge on the subject.

3) Class Reps

They act as if their job is the most important thing there is. All they do is plan night's out and they still can't get that right.

2) Freshers

They think they own the place and  there are more of them, because no one has dropped out yet. The real reason you hate them though is because they remind you of yourself when you were in first year.

1) "Oh, the lecture was cancelled, shit so what do I do now ".

For most people this might have happened to you once or twice over the years. For others, its almost a weekly occurrence, either way nothing feels worse than coming in for a lecture you didn't have to.
