5 Reasons The New Snapchat Update Is The Absolute Worst

Last week the new Snapchat update became a reality and the world was not happy.  Thousands took to the online world to moan about how unusable the new Snapchat update v10.25.2 is. It looks like our complaints aren't being taken on board. The CEO of Snapchat Evan Spiegel has confirmed the update is here to stay - we'll see. Here are five things we're can't wait to say bye bye to:

1. The Push Notification

Is anyone else being constantly being shown the blue notification and receiving notifications even though you have no new messages? Where are these messages from my phantom friends? Apparently, if you hit someone's name on Snapchat but don't type a message it still sends that person a notification which is just feckin' great.

2. Who is that on my Discovery?

Discovery uses to be a place you could find out whether or not you're a good detective or seeing a story about a fish taking over the world. Now, now we're subjected to random stories from minor celebrities about jumping into the ocean.

3. Chronological order is a thing of the past

My OCD self is not enjoying my most recent chats being sent to the bottom of the pile. How much do you need to message someone through Snapchat for them to remain on the top of your list? How much do you want me to scroll?

4. Leaving the app and having to start your story all over again

I have time to mindlessly stare into space for hours but what I don't have time for is rewatching someone's story/ rant twice. It's not happening. When I stop watching something I should be able to go back to that point, not the beginning. It's 2018 Snapchat.

5. People Might Be Over It And That Scares Me

The update wasn't just the worst thing to happen. A world without Snapchat, a la Bebo, might soon become a reality:
