Updated: Gardaí have been called to an incident at Dundalk IT where a man has been spotted with a gun.
The man, as reported by the Dundalk Democrat, was seen with a shotgun near the playing pitches earlier in the afternoon.
There were no reported shots fired, and the Gardaí, having conducted a search of the area, have left the campus.
