UCC Cancel All RAG Week Events Today Due To Death Of Student

UCCSU have announced, through a post in Snapchat, that all Raise And Give week events around the University College Cork campus would be cancelled today due to the death of a student.

The news was shared by the university newspaper, UCC Express, in a Tweet.

Aidan Smith, a 22 year-old mathematical sciences from Tramore, Waterford was found in his apartment on Sunday.

Gardaí are investigating the death but are not treating it as suspicious.

We would like to express our condolences to his family and friends and to the entirety of the university.
