Boom! Dealz To Go Toe-To-Toe With Penneys With Bargain Clothing Range

We love a good bargain, don't we? When times are hard and shopping morale is low, there's only a certain few places that can put a smile on our faces.

When it comes to bagging a good deal, Dealz and Penneys are the two port-of-calls for shoppers. While Penneys currently have the added advantage of selling low-price clothing, this is all about to change with the news that Dealz has stepped it up a notch by getting into fashion.

The chain will be selling clothes in their larger stores, a move which is set to delight those who regularly hit the shopping haunt to pick up cheap bits.

Dealz which is the part of the same franchise as Poundland in the UK, will put Pep&Co clothing outlets into its larger stores in Ireland.

Those who have bought their clothes in the UK will be paying a similar price for their stock here. A pair of runners cost around €5.60 while Jeans will set you back about €13.50.

Managing Director Adrian Mountford told The Irish Times the idea was to bring bargain family clothing to smaller towns, where there was limited competition. More will be revealed about the outlets that will sell the range, in January.

What do you think of the news? Will you be the first in the queue when Dealz begins to stock clothes?
