Gerard Butler Hospitalised After Motorcycle Accident In LA

While it may seem like every single thing to clutter your newsfeed today will be to do with some weather, as remarkable as it seems, there are other things still going on in the world. One of those things it seems is that beloved actor and Scot, Gerard Butler, has fallen from a motorcycle in Los Angeles.

He was apparently involved in a collision with a car while travelling through Los Angeles and was run off the road.

Thankfully though it appears he escaped the incident with only mild cuts and bruises, and without any serious injuries. Though he was rushed to hospital as a precaution.

The actor first came to prominence for his breakout role in the film 300, where he played Leonidas, the king of Sparta. Given that in this role, for a man who spent his days fighting other people with sharpened bits of metal, he was mostly naked save for a cape and a leather loin-cloth, we can only hope that he takes more of a vested interest in protecting himself when out on his hog.
