Government Reveals Errors Found In Leaving Cert Predicted Grades

Taoiesach Michéal Martin has confirmed this afternoon that errors have been found in the government's predicted Leaving Cert predicted grades programme.

Reports claimed that two errors were found in the leaving cert system. RTÉ claim that the error affects 10% of students who received predicted marks for the 2020 Leaving Cert, which is roughly 6,000 students.

The Taoiseach confirmed the error on the floor of the Dáil today.

According to a number of Irish political journalists, education minister Norma Foley will make a 'significant announcement' about the situation later today. A helpline is also reportedly also being set up for students who find their results affected.
