Does This News Mean Ireland Could Be Getting McDonald's Delivery?

We've been living with something missing for far too long. Many countries in the world have it, including Australia. So is it about time there was Ireland McDonald's delivery? I for one, say yes.

According to McDonald’s chief strategy officer, Lucy Brady, they plan to bring delivery services to some of their "major international markets."

"Restaurant delivery is a $100bn market and it’s exploded … There’s significant opportunity that we haven’t even tapped into yet," she said.

McDonald’s has been working with Uber in America and has been looking at other third parties for delivery, and this news made their shares shoot up by a crazy 4.9 per cent, reports Hospitality Ireland.

“We’re closer to more customers than any other restaurant company in the world,” Brady said. Touche.

So what do you reckon? Should Ireland get McDelivery?
