DCU's Out Of Darkness Walk Has Raised An Amazing Amount Of Money For Charity

We have to give it to DCU, they've really done a great job. After the first annual DCU SU Out of Darkness Walk, the Student Union has confirmed that €3000 euro has been raised!

According to the DCU Student Union's Facebook page, €1500 will be donated to Student Support & Development for additional counseling hours, while the other €1500 will go to Pieta House. The Out of Darkness walk took place in Albert College Park on May 6th and saw around 200 students taking part.

The Student's Union commented that they "have a fantastic Counselling & Personal Development service available on both GLA and SP Campus and we hope that our donation only enhances the services for next year".

The donations were made in memory of two DCU students who passed away in May.
