Richard Hammond Bashed For Claiming Eating Ice-Cream Is 'Gay'
We've really heard it all now, lads.
Richard Hammond has come under much scrutiny for saying he doesn't eat ice-cream because he's straight. He made the comments on his Amazon Prime TV show, 'The Grand Tour' in conversation with fellow presenters Jeremy Clarkson and James May.
The bizarre comment was made following Clarkson stating that you couldn't 'enjoy a chocolate Magnum ice cream' inside the expensive interior of a Rolls Royce. Hammond then replied, 'It’s alright, I don’t eat ice cream.' He added, 'It's something to do with being straight.'
The blatantly homophobic comment has caused quite a stir amongst viewers and Tweeters alike. Many people were angry while other mocked the hell of of him.
