Ryanair Have Launched A Massive €9.99 Seat Sale

Ryanair are sorry. They are very sorry. They've messed up and they know they have. And now they are here to make it up to you. They know many of you have sworn that you will never fly again with them after the whole 'hundreds of flights being cancelled and hundreds of thousands of people being inconvenienced' kerfuffle but they are here to win back your hearts. If this was a 90's rom-com, this would be the bit of the film where you hear a sharp tapping at your window, realise someone is pelting it with pebbles, so you throw open the shutters to reveal what you initial think is some sort of engorged sentient garden gnome, but is actually Michael O'Leary. Michael O'Leary, standing in the flower-bed with an acoustic guitar he's borrowed off a cousin and taught himself to play Enrique Iglasias' 'Hero' on, strapped over his shoulder. Michael O'Leary, trying to win you back.

Well, instead of a harrowing acoustic rendition of 'Hero', Ryanair have actually launched a massive seat sale to try engender some goodwill toward them once more. The sale will last until midnight of Monday, September 25, and applies to flights between October-February.

Seats priced at €9.99 are available to places such as London, Paris, Ibiza and Eindhoven. Always wanted to go to Eindhoven but put off at the idea of paying double figures for a plane ticket? Well now is your chance to sample its glorious Dutch delights.

Ryanair announced the sale in an email entitled '1 million seats on sale now' sent to its mailing list. Presumably said seats are attached to an aircraft and Ryanair are not simply moving into the world of furniture retail, though with Ryanair at the moment, who can reasonably claim for sure either way.
