Trouserless Corkman Robbed Of €1,000 After Being Lured By Threesome

A pair of Cork women have been charged due to their part in a 'Honey-trap' extortion scam that seen them robbing a man of nearly €1000 after luring him with the promise of a threesome.

Mary Williamson and Martina McGrath approached their victim, a 55-year-old man, also from Cork, in a chip shop. The two enticed him with an offer of a threesome.

As reported in the Irish Independent, when the victim arrived at the women's home he reneged on the offer of the threesome, but the women persisted. They eventually managed to remove his trousers and rob him of the €1000 he had been carrying therein.

Once they had taken the cash the court heard that the women became aggressive threatening to get male relatives who were present in the house to physically the victim unless he left immediately. He reported the incident to the authorities and the two women have since been arrested and charged with demanding money with menaces.

Mary Williamson has since been sentenced to three years in prison with the final 18 months suspended. Martina McGrath has received a two-and-a-half year sentence with the final 18 months suspended also.
