Applications For This Year's Love Island Are Still Open

It's not too late. There is still time; time for you to fulfill your destiny. It looks like the Love Island world is still accepting new contestants and you, you reading this now, who is not on Love Island, could soon be on Love Island.

According to show bosses, the most popular reality TV show of modern times is still searching for its next Adam, Wes, Georgia or Laura.

Although the current season of the show is only two weeks old, a spokesperson for the show confirmed that this year's winner might not even be on the show yet as "applications are still open".

New contestants might have the upper hand by being able to pick their future flame before they even step into the villa. According to the ITV website, ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from the UK to who want to head to the sun in search of a summer love.

Once again our Islanders have taken up residence in a spectacular luxury villa in the hope of finding love. But to stay on the island, they need to couple up – and more importantly – win the hearts of the public. If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you straight away. At eight weeks, the current series will be the show's longest yet so literally anything could happen. On last night's episode, new girls Ellie and Zara picked three boys to go on a three-course meal with so you're bound to have the cream of the crop if you enter at such a late stage. Just try not to miss dessert.
