It's no secret that Ellen DeGeneres is possibly one of the most generous human beings alive. She may as well change her surname to DeGenerous... *cough*... She constantly provides help and raises awareness of important issues around the globe. Every day, we see her sharing her generosity with the guests on her show and her audience. This particular act of kindness moved, not just Jimmy Kimmel, but a lot of people around the world.
For those of you who may not be in the know about Jimmy Kimmel's son, he has been struggling with a very serious heart condition since birth. Ellen has gone out of her way to pay a special tribute to him which brought Jimmy to tears on set.
"We called our friends at Children's Hospital LA, including Billy's surgeon, and we have named one of the rooms of the heart institute floor in honour of Billy."
