There's Been A Very Cinderella Break-In At A Portlaoise Pub

Forget scary Halloween costumes, how about some real life fairy tales? A man is currently wanted by Gardaí for breaking into a Portlaoise pub last night, and left in a very familiar way.

The intruder was stopped by Portlaoise Gardaí at Kavanagh's Bar and Venue on Main Street during the Halloween festivities.

The break-in was caught on CCTV and despite the intruder escaping he made a fatal error, somehow managing to leave a Nike runner behind as he made his escape.

The intruder did not have time to take anything and Kavanagh's Bar and Venue had a brilliant response to the Cinderella intruder who left their shoe behind.

Shoe belonging to one of the gentlemen who tried to break in last night.

Successfully stopped by Portlaoise Gardaí.

If you would like your shoe back, please call into the pub (during opening hours!) and we can have a chat about what I should do with the CCTV footage.

Do you know anyone who wears wine Nike runners? Tell them they should keep a low profile in the coming weeks.
