NUIG Library Is Giving Students A Cute Canine Treat And We're Here For It

College is not a walk in the park but when you have your furry BFF by your side it's a real possibility. In order to combat the stress of college life, NUIG library is bringing back Max, the lovable golden retriever, who last made an appearance back in 2017.

The golden retriever visited the James Hardiman library in 2017 and students shared their love for the blonde on Twitter:

Science has proven that dogs have a soothing effect on humans and their presence helps to lower your blood pressure and bringing animals on campus has become a popular trend over the last number of years and we're on board with it. Humans having to hang out with dogs at some stage throughout the day should be written in law. "Dogtor Max" will be visiting the Hardiman library Wednesday and Thursday of this week so pop in and get your 15 minutes destress cuddle and say hi from us!
