It was widely reported yesterday that Ed Westwick, one of the stars of hit teen drama Gossip Girl, had been accused of raping Kristina Cohen. Ms. Cohen, a fellow actor, made the accusations in a lengthy Facebook post on Monday alleging the incident that took place some three years ago.
Last night Mr. Westwick responded to the allegations on Twitter. He posted a brief but vehement denial of the incident.

Kristina Cohen has yet to respond in turn to these allegations, nor indeed have any other people come forward against the actor. The Sun have reported that the LAPD are investigating the allegations against the actor.
