We're starting a daily update of events going on around colleges and universities in Ireland, so let's kick-off our first update with some big events to put in your calendar.

Refreshers' Week

30 Jan - 3 Feb

Monday

  • Back from the Farm Day: Petting zoo on Glasnevin Campus, followed by Christy Moore
    tribute act Liam Byrne in Nubar
  • Official After Party with WhyNot Networks - Jax Jones, live at Wrights Venue

Tuesday

  • The hilarious Sex Magician Shane Quilty will be in the Grumpy Mule at 1pm St Patrick's Campus followed by our first Shite Night of semester 2.

Wednesday

  • DCU Dunk Tank - Watch your SU get dunked on Glasnevin Campus from 1pm, all for charity of course!
  • Race Night - DCUSU virtual horse racing night, commentated by
    the Hardy Bucks Owen Colgan.

Thursday

  • Beg, Borrow, Steal - Launch on Glasnevin campus from 9.30am at the Helix.
  • Stevie Starr - The amazing America's Got Talent Finalist will be performing on St Patricks campus from 1pm.

Friday

  • International night in Nubar with Music from DCU DJ soc.

Alumni Awards

February 17

The DCU Alumni Awards are presented annually to graduates who have made substantial achievements in their chosen fields, or who have contributed in a significant way to the social, artistic or economic development of Ireland.

Maynooth

First Dates

MSU are looking for 100 candidates to take part in MSU's first ever First dates. Food will be provided and candidates will have to take part in fun tasks and will be weighted on by the MSU Sabbatical officers

April 1

Come to Maynooth's Spring Open Day on April 1st to see the growing campus and to meet students and lecturers who will explain how the skills developed at Maynooth will prove invaluable in work and life - whatever you decide to do.

Rainbow week is here! The week celebrates LGBTQ life on campus with a broad range of events taking place over the course of the week.

At the lecture, healthcare experts will discuss current treatments for epilepsy and will look at cutting-edge research into future treatments of the condition. Our speakers will discuss patient journeys and will give advice on lifestyle issues associated with epilepsy
