Last Night's Love Island Recoupling Has Left A Sour Taste In Fans' Mouths

Last night's Love Island left a lot of fans disappointed. An island text revealed that Georgia and Wes were being given a second chance at love.

Firstly, Georgia, who's been loyal since the get-go, worked her charm on Laura's new boy Jack. She chose to go on a date with Jack and then awkwardly tried to kiss him:

Wes was trying to reignite the lost 'do bits' society by bringing Meg, who dumped him for Alex, on a date. After Megan spent ten minutes discussing how romantically confused she was, Wes knew she was the girl for him.

In a shocking twist during the elimination, Alex, Ellie, Adam, and Darylle were given the boot with the two single islanders choosing to save Sam and Meg. Even though we all saw it coming, Wes and Megan's recoupling made us eye roll rather than roll off our couch and dance with joy.

Unsurprisingly, Wes's family shared on Instagram story indicating Meg won't be invited to Sunday dinner anytime soon as they wanted Wes to choose Darylle:

Their post was deleted from Wes's Instagram shortly after Wes chose Megan. Even if his family felt they have to remain quiet, you could hear the UK collectively chanting "mug" when Wes chose Megan to recouple with:

Fans of the show are devastated that, whatever they do, they just can't get rid of Meg. By pairing up with Meg, Wes has put himself in the firing line once again:

Originally the biggest villain of Love Island, fans are surprised their going to miss Adam:

The biggest surprise of the night was Josh and Kaz surviving being dumped:

We'll have to wait until tonight to see how the islanders reacted to the latest villa shake-up. 9 pm can't come any sooner.
