Laura Whitmore Set To Be Announced As New Love Island Presenter

Considering the highlights of last season's Love Ireland were Irish to the core, it makes perfect sense that the show's next presenter hails from these shores.

Following the news that Caroline Flack was stepping down as Love Island presenter after her arrest on domestic violence charges against her boyfriend, Love Island chiefs have acted swiftly to replace her.

Step forward, Laura Whitmore.

The Wicklow native already has an attachment to the show, as her boyfriend Iain Stirling is the show's voiceover. Whitmore has been the face of ITV shows in the past, most notably I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! NOW! on ITV2.

According to the Daily Mail, ITV chiefs are set to announce Whitmore as Flack's replacement, with the Aftersun show to be hosted by Stirling and Whitmore together.

Also, it is stated that Whitmore and Flack are still friends and ITV are 'leaving the door open' for Flack following her arrest.
