This New Netflix Release May Be The Best Documentary We've Seen

There's nothing that quite seems to relax us 21st century audiences more than settling down for a peaceful night in with some food, and perhaps a glass of wine, to watch an in depth analysis of some gruesome murder trial on Netflix.

Well, Long Shot, which was recently released on the streaming platform may be one of the best true-crime documentaries we've seen. At only 40 minutes long it is an easy watch but recounts one of the most compelling stories of a man trying to assert his innocence that has surely ever existed.

It follows Juan Catalan, a man charged with the murder of a 16 year old girl in May 2003, and the ludicrously coincidental series of events that led to his name being cleared, including an utterly remarkable key piece of evidence where he was captured in background footage during the filming of one of HBO's most successful comedy creations, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Again, at only 40 minutes, it's a quick watch, but is so well-paced and compelling that you will savour every minute of it. It's definitely worth a watch.
