Does This Child's 'Pointless' Answer Signal The Apocalypse Is Imminent?

If there's any show that is very pointful, it's BBC's 'Pointless'. According to the website, Pointless is a quiz in which contestants try to score as few points as possible by plumbing the depths of their general knowledge to come up with the answers no-one else can think of.
Wow, that is truly riveting!
One contestant searched the deepest cavities of her mind to find an answer that both makes no sense and is completely wrong. Bless you child for trying:
Saw this on #bbc #pointless earlier.... She did A-Level Geography and said Paris is a country.... The Schools are failing! #education #fail pic.twitter.com/ELp844pcaW

Is this the end of days? What has the world come to? The apocalypse is definitely imminent if an A-grade student thinks Paris is a country that ends in two consonants. Maybe the pressure got to her, or maybe the impending doom of the world falling in on itself was too much to bear.
We may never know.
