Amazing Footage Of Storm Brian Blowing A Mayo Waterfall Upwards

What with all the storms assailing us, the slow disintegration of Western political structures and the looming ecological disasters climate change has in the post for us, many people would be forgiven for thinking that we are living in the end times. The signs are all around us.

In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, premonitions of the fact that Caesar is gonna get absolutely shanked are rife and take the form of bad weather and freak natural occurrences. Well, while I'm sure no one is going to get shanked because of this, some pretty amazing footage has emerged of a waterfall in Mayo being blown upwards due to Storm Brian's overly eager gustiness.

The coastal river in Mayo seems about to flow over the cliff and continue its merry way into the sea, giving in, as always, to the whims of gravity. But Storm Brian was not one to play by the rules. 'Go fuck yourself gravity' is very much his mantra, and true to his word, he blows the water in a fine spray up into the air.

Would you like to watch the video, filmed by Adrian Weckler? Yes. Has this post gone on too long simply perhaps because there's a word count to be filled? Almost definitely.
