The Weekend, SZA & Travis Scott Will Have A New Song Feature On GOT

Winter is almost here

With only 5 days to go until the final season of Game of Thrones is aired, the excitement and anticipation has set in. We cannot wait.

This is set to be one of the biggest TV moments of 2019, and probably the decade to be fair, with millions of people around the world tuning in to see the final season of the Game of Thrones.

With so many amazing features in the series, one that has always stood out is the chilling music that has a huge part to play in the series atmospherics. The iconic opening theme music that has every bone in your body shaking with excitement to say the least.

Game of Thrones is known to be open to having celebs feature on the show. You might remember Ed Sheeran's cameo appearance in Season 7. The British singer had a brief scene in the multi-award-winning series playing Lannister soldier. Fans labelled this rather pointless celebrity cameo as "stupid".

This season is going to see the Weekend, SZA and Travis Scott all appear on the season's playlist.

According to Pitchfork, The Weekend was asked to record a song for the final season, which he agreed to with the addition to SZA and Travis Scott being added to the track. Hey, maybe they're really big GOT fans, who knows.

We're looking forward to see how these R&B artist will fit into the mix of GOT's usual tracks.

If you are still finalising your Game Of Throne viewing plans, The Back Page pub in Phibsborough will be hosting a Game of Thrones Season 8 viewing party.

In a show that's known for being unpredictable, it's really anyone's guess who will end up on the Iron Throne. With just 6 episodes in this final season, all will be revealed on May 20th.
