#JobFairy: Bus Éireann Are Looking To Hire And They Want You!

Want your childhood dream of being a bus driver to come true?

Well now is your chance because Bus Éireann, our semi-state national bus service, are looking to hire 150 new recruits and they are offering some very attractive figures.

Bus Éireann have announced they will be recruiting a staggering 150 new bus drivers this year thanks to their planned expansion and enhancement of a number of routes throughout the country.

They will be looking to recruit drivers in Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork as part of their new plan.

“This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy working with the general public in a busy and ever growing environment,” said Chief Customer Officer, Allen Parker.

They're keen to hire women, after holding a recruitment campaign and open day for women bus drivers.

The requirements for this post are not too much either, all you need to have is a category D driver's license under your belt, be at least 23, posses a digital tachograph card, posses a driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) for Public Service Vehicle drivers, have great customer service and a good attitude.

If that hasn't sold you yet, then listen to this.

Bus Éireann are offering a starting salary of €677.44 for a 29 hour week, with the chance of going up to €784.92 after four years with the company. So you would start on an extremely comfortable 35k a year, stretching to a glorious 40k after four years. Amazing! I might have to think about this myself..

If you think you tick all these boxes and are fit for a comfortable job driving around our beautiful island, you can apply here.

Good luck!
