7 Reasons Why Being Single At Christmas Is The Bomb
You hear a lot of worrying and anxiety about being alone at Christmas, but it's all nonsense. Being all alone with no one to love at Christmas is a blessing really. Honestly. Hear us out.
1. All the nights out
The festive period is like a playground for single people. Work parties, 12 pubs, mini-reunions - December is flooded with nights out that are solid hunting ground if you're looking to get stuck into someone.
2. Steering clear of awkward social situations
Like unnecessary gatherings with your other half's family. Having to make idle chit-chat with the in-laws while you try and take the edge off with a few glasses of Prosecco does not a fun party make. Worse than that, having to waste one or more of your precious nights out with their friends, and not your own. Who wants that?
3. No family politics
Rather then worrying about who is spending Christmas where and trying to get to every family gathering, you can just hibernate all day in your Pyjamas, scoff a load of Ferrero Roche and sing along to 'Lonely this Christmas.'

You don't have to waste your hard earned money on buying presents for your significant other. There'll be no in-laws to worry about splashing your cash on, no romantic meals to fork out for. Nope, it's all about treating Yo'Self.
5. You don't have to worry about shaving your legs
Same goes for all year round. Live in the blissful knowledge that you can look like a Rabid Werewolf and no one will be any the wiser.
6. Putting on a few pounds over Christmas isn't an issue
Go ahead, eat at as many mince pies as you'd like.. no one will be seeing you in your knickers anyway!
7. You can spend NYE with your mates
You don't have to factor in what your other half wants to do. Nope, you can round up your mates, drink your weight in booze and go on the prowl for some unsuspecting soul to give you a kiss at midnight. It's a glamorous life really.
