Dubliners Rejoice: Bewley's Has Finally Reopened On Grafton Street

Bewley's Cafe on Grafton Street has finally re-opened its doors to the public again. The café shut up shop in February 2015 for renovations and now, almost three years later, the iconic café is open again.

The revamped cafe can now host up to 500 customers at a time, and there are a number of new features including an in-house bakery. The stained glass windows designed by Harry Clarke have been restored and many open fires in the establishment have also been renovated.

A statement on Bewley's website reads:

Bewley’s Grafton Street, one of Dublin’s most iconic and celebrated landmarks, has reopened its doors. Following a multi-million- euro refurbishment, the much-loved café has been restored to create a bigger, brighter and better-than- ever customer experience.

At the moment only the ground floor is open to customers with the first floor not ready until after Christmas.

The opening hours for the cafe are 7am – 9pm, 7 days a week.
