An Irish City Has Been Revealed As The Least Sex-Positive In The World

For those of you who aren't familiar with the term "sex-positive" it simply means: promoting an open, tolerant and progressive attitude to sex and sexuality. Well lads, it looks like Ireland is still cloaked with Catholic shame as two of our cities are the least sex-positive in the world and one of them is worst than the other. Lazeeva, a "sexy" mobile app, revealed that Cork, yes you boy, is the least sex-positive in the world in most of the areas Lazeeva surveyed coming in 100th place. Our capital city, Dublin, came 62th out of 100 cities on the list.

450,000 people from ages 18 - 70 were used for the sex-positive survey. The categories they used to rate the most sex-positive cities were: sexually active, sexually experimental, sexually satisfied, sex toy consumption, porn consumption, adult entertainment, swingers score, access to contraception, LGBT-friendliness and gender equality. Out of 10, Cork received a 0.1 for sexual activity, a 0.5 for sexual satisfaction and a 2.4 for LGBT-friendliness. Dublin received a 1.1 for sexual activity, a 5.1 for sexual satisfaction and 8.7 for LGBT-friendliness. Unsurprisingly, access to contraception, again back to the Catholic guilt, was extremely low at 1.6.

Some of the top searches for porn in each country included Milf (Berlin), Feet (Hamburg), Shaving (San Juan), Stepsister (Oslo), Tickling (Stuttgart) and Fart (Utrecht). At least four countries had the top search term as "lesbian".

Here is the list of the more sex-positive cities - just in case you're interested- and we're really not surprised:

  1. Paris
  2. Rio De Janeiro
  3. London
  4. Los Angeles
  5. Berlin
  6. New York City
  7. Sao Paulo
  8. Las Vegas
  9. Ibiza Town (lol)
  10. Amsterdam
