5 Messers Made A GoFundMe Page For Their Post-Leaving Cert Holiday

5 messers made a GoFundMe page for their post-leaving cert holiday and it has to be seen to be believed. You really have to have some balls to ask the general public to sponsor your holiday, and it's safe to say this group are more than qualified.

Eanna Lowry, Shane McCormack, Jamie Quinn, Leanne Hickey and John Mulraney from Offaly are trying to raise money for their trip to Tenerife. It's a desperate situation you see, as the pals have booked the holiday but now need €1000 to party.

In their plea for the holiday of their lives, they wrote on their GoFundMe page:

"To whom it may concern,
As you all may know one of the biggest problems in the lives of a 17/18 year old Irish person is the ever-dreaded leaving certificate exam...As a form of motivation and celebration the ... teens have recently booked a holiday to tropic Tenerife. However, they face just one more problem. They have no money! This is where you come in. We are pleading with you to kindly donate to the much needed fund to aid these tenacious teenagers in their attempt to get off their rockers 5/7 of the nights"

They also understood there are more important issues going on in the world right now and I can't honestly think of one. HASHTAG GET THEM TO THE 'RIFE #getthemtotherife

We've all been 17/18, so dig into your pockets and give 'em the send-off the deserve. They're only €130 off their goal at the time of writing!
