Winning EuroMillions Ticket Was Sold In The Naul, Co Dublin

National Lottery Head Quarters has confirmed that the record-breaking lottery winner has been in contact and the winning EuroMillions ticket was sold in Reilly’s in the Naul, Co Dublin.

You can almost hear rural Ireland despair, everything going to those Dubs again. The shop owner Les Reilly who sold the winning tickets said:

I can’t comment at the moment but call me back in a few hours.

The winner of the ticket has yet to be revealed but the rumour mill was in full swing this morning. Local radio station LMFM Radio reported that there's speculation that it was bought by a family syndicate with connections in the Duleek and Bellewstown areas.

Where they obtained this information, no one knows. It could be a case of Mary down the road heard it from John. What we do know is everyone in the country is hoping that the lucky winner is a friend or long lost relative of theirs that needs a little help spending €175 million.

National Lottery CEO, Dermot Griffin has advised the winner to take their time to process this big win and to stay calm.

The record-breaking jackpot had been rolling over for several weeks. The €175 million total is nearly €50 million more than the next biggest sum won in Ireland.

Talk about the luck of the Irish!
